L+1 is a network of more than 100 business and institutional leaders that promotes sustainable development, inspiring their transformation as agents of change. Each year a meeting of leaders is held in different regions of the country, being this year Cusco the chosen city.
Especially the Niños del Arco Iris Foundation hosted the meeting, offering the rooms of our hotel Las Casitas del Arco Iris to around 15 guests. During 3 days they executed different activities around environmental conservation, sustainable business initiatives and solid waste treatment.
On the first day, Niños del Arco Iris was the ideal location to show the work we have been doing inside and outside the classroom in the area of protecting
We were joined by our 3rd grade children who accompanied the participants to our planting plots to carry out our volunteer program. Each group planted native plants and trees such as Queuña, Chachacomo and Hydrangeas; all of this with the help of our students, with whom at the end of the activity, they shared a space for reflection and exchange of ideas on how to continue taking care of Mother Earth.
